I've never been very good at handling disappointment or unexpected change, but the past year and a half has been filled with mostly that; adjusting to circumstance has just been what we've all had to do - right now I would have been in Australia, seeing and hugging and squeezing all my beautiful friends and family and playing shows.

I would have announced an album that's been in the works all year (that's coming soon I swears).

I would then be back here playing shows until my tour in the States (I really will be able to announce those shows soon so !!!!!) aaaand another one of my favourite countries.

I would have been able to release a whole bunch of music by incredible artists on my label, but due to scheduling clashes - I've had to learn to go with the flow.

A lot of learning to cope with all that change and deal with the frustrations of (ir)regular life has been to shut myself off from most of the world and just make a lot of music. So now that the wheels are turning, I want to give a present to both myself and those that want to take these off my hands, one track each day until the end of the year to clean out this overflowing closet and start afresh. I think of it as a track a day to keep the cobwebs away.

So starting off my little project 'The Present' (for me, for you, to be in it and not in the past or future), is one of the unreleased tracks that I always get asked about - I played it in the Wheels of Steel with my dear friend Partiboi69 - It's called A Mind Out Of Sight & it's one of 36 tracks to come from now till the end of the year.
